The existing wood framed porch was showing its age and wearing out. The under structure was rotting away and the materials on the surface were in the same shape and wouldn’t hold paint any longer.
Everything below the roof of the porch was removed. The sub-structure and footings were replaced and all of the visible portions of the porch were replaced with new synthetic materials that have the same appearance as their wood counterparts but they will not rot or have any of the bad behaviors that wood has.
The new materials were painted in a color scheme that compliments the rest of the house nicely.
